Dedicated to the one I love...

Just the two of us...seems like yesterday

I can't remember when you weren't there
When I didn't care for anyone but you
I swear we've been through everything there is
Can't imagine anything we've missed
Can't imagine anything the two of us can't do

Through the years
You've never let me down
You turned my life around
The sweetest days I've found
I've found with you
Through the years
I've never been afraid
I've loved the life we've made
And I'm so glad I stayed
Right here with you
Through the years

I can't remember what I used to do
Who I trusted whom, I listened to before
I swear you've taught me everything I know
Can't imagine needing someone so
But through the years it seems to me
I need you more and more

Through the years, through all the good and bad
I knew how much we had, I've always been so
glad
To be with you...Through the years
It's better every day, you've kissed my tears
away
As long as it's okay, I'll stay with you
Through the years
Through the years, when everything went wrong
Together we were strong, I know that I belong
Right here with you...Through the years,
I never had a doubt, we'd always work things out
I've learned what love's about, by loving you
Through the years
Through the years, you've never let me down
You've turned my life around, the sweetest days I've found
I've found with you...Through the years
It's better every day, you've kissed my tears away
As long as it's okay, I'll stay with you
Through the years.

Logan....Little Stinker to Cool Dude

Thank Heaven for little boys, they grow up in a most delightful way...

Logan, from wondering what you were thinking to knowing now what you're about to say, I am so blessed to have you in my life each and every day.......Love ya buddy...Love Mom

My Sister, My Friend

Chance made us sisters, hearts made us friends

Dear Wendy, you are a wonderful sister and I'm so glad we shared so many of our childhood years together. We both grew up without having a mother in our lives...and I think we've come a long way! Gone are those years when we had our sisterly fights which consisted of lots of pulling hair and screaming...me scratching you with my nails. Then we have those days where we were just the best of friends...like when we ran to our bedroom to watch our show...Dance Party USA. I have so many wonderful memories and I just want to say...thank you....my sister, my friend.

A Letter to my Brother...

Have you been naughty or nice?

Alright Jared....HO! HO! HO!.....This year, have you been naughty or nice?

Santa, I'll tell you the truth....I've been a little bit of both. I'm a boy and I come with some naughtiness......however, I'm full of nice too!

(I'm watching where you put those white hands of yours! I'm a watcher....just like you!)

Jared, what do you want for Christmas, if I see on my list that you HAVE been a GOOD BOY?

Santa, all I want is to spread great Joy to everyone I meet.....can you give me that?

Why Jared, that is something that you already posess....how about something you would really love to have?

Thanks Santa.....but I already have all I want for Christmas this year!

The House that Love Built....

Hi readers of my newest blog.

This is our house that love built......lots of cherished memories here.

We are the Griffin's. We moved into this house when our first child, Jared, was born. He was our boy of special needs and we needed a home to bring him to because we lived in an apartment at the time of his birth. As I tended to him at the hospital where he was being taken care of, Jared's father went house-hunting and this is the home he found for us.

There is nothing half as pleasant as coming home again and again.

Home is where friendships are formed and families are grown; where joy is planted and shared and true love is known; where our memories are made and the seeds of life are sown.
